The CGT50 is a versatile fixed-wing hybrid VTOL UAV powered by an EFI gasoline engine with built-in alternator and backup battery. The autonomous-capable aircraft can be operated by a team of two people, using electric motors for takeoff and landing and requiring no catapult or runway.
The platform uses separate encrypted communications links on distinct frequencies for C2 and payloads. It also incorporates a variety of other advanced safety features, including redundant mission-critical systems (ailerons, elevators, pitots, GPS, IMUs and altimeters), user-defined emergency flight patterns, ADS-B In and Out, and an FPV tail camera for enhanced situational awareness.
The CGT50 has been operated by armed forces, law enforcement agencies and research institutions around the world, and is ideal for a wide range of civilian and defense applications. These include ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), border patrol, SAR (search and rescue), industrial inspection, and precision agriculture.
