Black Widow Multirotor UAS

The Black Widow is a small multirotor UAS designed to support a variety of tactical defense and government requirements, including short-range reconnaissance and target identification. Made in the USA, the Blue UAS-certified drone system is part of Red Cat's Arachnid Family of Systems, which has been purpose-built for the U.S. Army’s roadmap for UAS integration.

The versatile system is rucksack-portable and features a fully modular architecture, allowing it to be quickly reconfigured in the field for different mission requirements. It is provided as standard with the Teledyne FLIR Hadron 640R+, enabling it to gather mission-critical EO/IR imagery at any time of day or night. With powerful integrated AI capabilities, it is capable of advanced autonomy and obstacle avoidance, as well as target identification, classification and tracking.

The Black Widow also includes a hex-band radio from Doodle Labs, with frequency-stepping for enhanced resilience in electronic warfare (EW) environments. The aircraft has a low acoustic signature and can be configured to operate in an enhanced stealth mode with radios turned off.
