Complementing the TALON family is SkyLance, a next-generation, long-range, cost-effective One Way Effector (OWE) designed for precision payload delivery. Powered by Rotron’s proprietary propulsion technology, it features rocket-assisted take off (RATO) for rapid deployment from austere environments, advanced survivability measures (low IR/acoustic/radar signatures), resilient navigation (GNSS-denied capable with <6 m accuracy), and precise target acquisition via NVIDIA-powered EO/IR systems. SkyLance

Cost-effective Long-Range One-Way Effector

SkyLance is a long-range One-Way Effector (OWE) developed by Rotron Aerospace for precision payload delivery over extended distances. Combining autonomous navigation, advanced aerodynamics, and Rotron’s proprietary propulsion technology, the system offers high-speed performance, modular payload integration, and rapid deployment capability.

Designed for deep-range missions, SkyLance features rocket-assisted launch capability and can carry payloads of up to 300 kg, with a range of up to 1,200 km. The platform complements Rotron’s portfolio of VTOL UAV systems and advanced propulsion solutions.

Talon DT-300

Multi-mission electric VTOL UAV with industry-leading performance

The Talon DT-300 is a highly versatile multi-mission VTOL UAS that can be easily reconfigured to serve a variety of roles. With a unique dual-rotor design inspired by the CH-47 Chinook cargo helicopter, it offers class-leading performance in multiple areas including payload, range, and operational radar and acoustic signatures.

The aircraft’s highly optimised and stable aerodynamic design utilizes tandem counter-rotating rotors, removing the need for a tail rotor and ensuring that all power is used for generating lift. Active blade pitch control allows the platform to harness translation lift during forward flight. These capabilities enable the Talon DT-300 to outperform traditional multirotor designs by a factor of up to four times.

The ultra-lightweight carbon composite fuselage is foldable for maximum portability and convenience, providing a highly transportable form factor that can be carried and loaded by two people into an ordinary estate car.

The Talon DT-300 is equipped with a NextVision Raptor EO/IR gimbal, making it ideal for ISR and target detection, identification, and tracking.

Its 45 kg payload capacity also allows it to act as a mothership capability, enabling smaller FPV drones to be launched directly from its modular carrier rack.

Talon DT-300X

Hybrid electric unmanned helicopter with enhanced range and endurance

The Talon DT-300X is a hybrid version of the DT-300, featuring Rotron’s hydrocarbon-fuelled RT150 aero-engine, which recharges the electric batteries to provide longer battery life and therefore greater range and endurance. Capable of flying for up to 5 hours and 400 km, it is designed for a variety of mission types including extended ISTAR, logistics resupply, and deep strike.

The RT150 aero-engine can be easily removed to convert the DT-300X into a fully electric platform.

With a low logistical footprint, the IP67-rated aircraft can be folded down into a highly compact form factor, and can be deployed from urban areas, remote regions, or vessels and marine platforms.

Talon DT-150

Compact fully electric helicopter UAS with 22.5kg payload capacity

The Talon DT-150 is a highly compact fully electric unmanned helicopter platform designed as a smaller counterpart to the DT-300. With a maximum payload of 22.5 kg, it is ideal for cargo delivery, as well as a variety of sensor-based applications such as surveillance, inspection and monitoring. The versatile aircraft can also act as a mothership capability for the deployment of up to three smaller FPV drones.

The IP67-rated UAS is highly resilient against wind and weather, offering excellent stability and control in high crosswinds or turbulence. It features a foldable design with detachable rotor blades, allowing it to be packed down into an easily transportable case that fits in a standard SUV.
