Beyond Vision offers the BVT516 (VTOne), a Class 3 hybrid VTOL fixed-wing unmanned aircraft designed for long-endurance, multi-mission operations.
The platform combines vertical take-off and landing capability with efficient forward flight, enabling deployment in confined environments while maintaining the speed and range advantages of fixed-wing systems.
Hybrid Performance and Endurance
The VTOne transitions between multirotor lift and fixed-wing flight, supporting both vertical operations and efficient long-range coverage. It reaches speeds of up to 120 km/h and operates in wind conditions of up to 50 km/h.
Powered by dual 12S lithium-ion batteries rated at 44.4 V and 20,000 mAh, the UAV delivers up to 180 minutes of flight time. An integrated battery monitoring mechanism tracks voltage levels to support controlled and safe landings.
Precision Positioning and Flight Stability
The VTOne is described as an AI-powered system and incorporates Real Time Kinematic positioning technology, enabling real-time positional accuracy of approximately 5 cm. This supports precise positioning and consistent navigation during operations.
Its fixed-wing configuration enhances operational resilience, allowing the aircraft to remain airborne and perform a controlled landing even in the event of a motor failure. The flight controller maintains stability in non-ideal weather conditions.
Communications and Connectivity
The BVT516 integrates multiple communication links, including WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G, 5G, LoRa, and ZigBee. A point-to-point radio link supports operations at distances of up to 100 km, while cellular connectivity enables extended operational range where coverage is available. This provides redundancy across communication channels.
Modular Payload and Data Capture
A modular payload compartment supports a range of sensors, including stabilized 8K cameras, thermal imagers, and multispectral systems. The UAV can carry payloads up to 2 kg and has a maximum take-off weight of 16 kg.
Optional onboard storage, including 256 GB and 512 GB SSDs, enables extended data collection during longer missions. The platform supports more than 40 payload configurations, allowing adaptation to specific operational requirements.
Rapid Deployment and Applications
The VTOne is designed for tool-free assembly and rapid deployment, supporting efficient field operations.
Its configurable architecture enables use across sectors such as construction, defense, energy, and agriculture. Applications include site monitoring and surveying, infrastructure inspection, reconnaissance and surveillance, and precision farming supported by sensor-based data collection.
