Long Endurance Hydrogen-Powered Drone Solutions for Commercial Applications United States of America
Long Endurance Hydrogen-Powered Drone Solutions for Commercial Applications
Cellen is a US manufacturer of hydrogen-powered drone solutions designed to provide unparalleled efficiency, reliability, and sustainability for a wide variety of commercial applications. Our mission is to develop a state-of-the-art ecosystem with a fully integrated hydrogen infrastructure, empowering the drone industry with new levels of cost-effectiveness, mission endurance and scalability.
Designed and built in the USA, our NDAA-compliant and fully-electric UAVs offer best-in-class flight times of up to 150 minutes, with zero emissions and seamless refueling capabilities.
H2-6 UAS
Long endurance hydrogen-powered drone with versatile payload capabilities
The H2-6 is a revolutionary hydrogen-powered multirotor UAS that offers class-leading flight times for unmatched productivity and efficiency. Designed and built in the USA, it complies with all NDAA and FAA requirements including Remote ID, and is ready for BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operation.
Up to 140 min flight time with 2 lbs of payload
Up to 120 min flight time with 6 lbs of payload
Up to 60 min flight time with 10 lbs of payload
The fully-electric platform is fueled via easily-swappable hydrogen cylinders, utilizing an onboard fuel cell to generate electricity through an electrochemical reaction that produces water vapor as its only by-product. The only moving parts within the aircraft are the motors, ensuring superior reliability and lower maintenance requirements.
Custom UAVs & Payload Integrations
The versatile H2-6 UAS can be configured for specialized applications and adjusted to meet specific mission requirements, with support for a range of industry-leading payloads and sensor, such as:
Sony ILX-LR1 – 61 MP still image camera for aerial inspection and photogrammetry
Phase One P3 – 120 MP camera with built-in laser range finder, ideal for high-precision mapping and inspection
AerialOGI – industry-leading OGI (optical gas imaging) sensor for methane and hydrocarbon leak detection
Gremsy VIO F1 – NDAA-compliant EO/IR payload with 4K zoom for industrial inspection and long-distance imaging
As part of our complete hydrogen-powered unmanned aviation ecosystem, Cellen offers a comprehensive set of services and solutions to support your operations.

Financial Services
Cellen offers customers a range of flexible finance options that can be tailored to your budget and usage requirements, including rental programs, leasing options and comprehensive subscription plans.
With the ability to cover 3 to 5 times the distance of battery-powered drones in a single flight, the H2-6 maximizes efficiency for long-distance and extended corridor inspections, doing away with the need for frequent landings and battery swaps.
Wind Turbine & Solar Farm Inspection
The H2-6 can inspect multiple turbines and entire solar farms without needing to land, streamlining data collection and providing the ability to operate during tighter weather windows.
OGI Leak Detection
The H2-6 is ideal for optical gas imaging, enabling efficient large-scale coverage for detecting methane and hydrocarbon leaks in oil and gas infrastructure with lower operational costs.
Photogrammetry & LiDAR
Thanks to the H2-6’s extended endurance, aerial photogrammetry operators no longer need to choose between flight time and high image resolution. The platform can also fly with heavy LiDAR payloads for longer than battery-powered drones, providing more coverage per mission and reduced data gaps.
Data Relay & Communications Support
The H2-6 can serve as an airborne data relay, providing reliable connectivity that supports emergency response and remote infrastructure operations in areas with limited communications or network coverage.
