BlueBird Aero Systems’ WanderB-VTOL FC is a miniature and rapidly-deployable hybrid VTOL UAV that combines the range and endurance advantages of fixed-wing platforms with the maneuverability and small operational footprint of multirotor drones. Equipped with a state-of-the-art hydrogen fuel cell for enhanced mission endurance, it can be operated by a two-person crew and can take off and land in confined spaces such as urban rooftops, small clearings, and the decks of naval vessels.
The versatile fully-electric aircraft utilizes three robust integrated communication links, redundant systems and GPS anti-jamming for mission continuity even in highly contested environments. It can be equipped with a variety of sensors and payloads for multi-mission flexibility.
The WanderB-VTOL FC features low acoustic, visual, thermal and radar signatures, making it ideal for covert operations. It is highly suited to a wide range of demanding missions, including ISTAR, border protection, artillery support, search and rescue, and more.
