Mini Micro Data Link System (M2DLS)
Mini secure wireless data link for miniature and micro-drones
The Mini Micro Data Link System (M2DLS) is an advanced digital system weighing just 100 grams and specifically designed for miniature and micro-sized UAV and other unmanned platforms with strict SWaP constraints.
The M2DLS provides full duplex digital communication, using Gaussian-shaped Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) digital modulation to reduce power consumption, while maintaining high performance with a high fade margin. This feature makes it ideal for tactical unmanned systems with limited power budgets.
The M2DLS can downlink real-time video images, LAN and serial data, and information from a wide range of sensors, with a range of up to 40 km, and provides superior reliability and performance even under the harshest of conditions.
Advanced wireless data link for sUAS and tactical UGVs
The Advanced Mini Link System (AMLS) is an advanced digital data link system designed for mini UAVs and smaller sized tactical UAS as well as UGVs. With a weight of just 300 grams, it is ideal for such platforms with more stringent SWaP requirements.
The open architecture system enables full duplex wideband, error correction techniques and high-rate communication, with the ability to downlink real-time video images, LAN and serial data, and information from a wide range of sensors. With high spectral efficiency and data rate selectivity, the system allows for multiple unmanned aircraft operating in the same airspace vicinity.
With a range of up to 150km, the AMLS is ideal for extended UAV and UGV missions including battlefield reconnaissance and IED detection.
Secure wireless data link, ideal for long-range UAV missions
The Integrated Data Link System (IDLS MK-II) is a digital system designed for medium and high altitude long endurance (MALE & HALE) unmanned aerial systems. Leveraging an open architecture design, it enables full duplex wideband, error correction techniques and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels.
The IDLS-MK II provides secured communication between an unmanned platform and a Ground Data Terminal (GDT), which can be operated as a stand-alone unit or installed on a vehicle or roof. The system can downlink real-time video images, LAN and serial data, and information from a wide range of sensors. It supports uplink to the remote platform and commands from the GDT, securely maintaining all links as long as the platform remains within line of sight.
The IDLS-MK II weighs 2.5 kg and provides an operational range of up to 250 km, making it ideal for long-range UAV missions such as search & rescue, ISR and utilities inspection.
The UHF/VHF Radio (UVR) is an advanced analog/digital system that provides full-duplex audio and Ethernet data transmissions for a wide variety of unmanned platforms, including UAS, UGVs and USVs.
The UVR’s transceiver enables secure voice or data communication, including VoIP and air traffic control (ATC) comms, over both VHF and UHF frequency bands, supporting a range from 30MHz to 512MHz.
The transceiver is software-controlled, implementing both analog and digital modulation, and provides a wide range of functional options to suit a variety of operational requirements.
Weighing just 2.5 kg, the transceiver is suitable for installation in both ground and aerial platforms. It has an operational range of up to 250 km, making it ideal for surveillance, search and rescue, and ISR missions. Maritime applications include ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communications as well as manned-unmanned teaming.
Wireless data link for any class of unmanned aerial platform
The Secondary Link is an advanced long-range half-duplex digital data link system that weighs just 60 grams, making it ideal for a broad range of unmanned platforms including small quadcopters and other multirotor UAS. It features simplex narrowband digital functionality and low-rate communication via UHF.
With a range of up to 250 km, the Secondary Link provides a single communication channel for commands to the unmanned vehicle and can also act as a primary link, as a redundant link for backup purposes or as a flight termination system (FTS).
The Secondary Link can also be provided as an optional part of the Commtact AMLS and IDLS-MK II systems.
The lightweight system also features a small form factor and low power consumption, providing secure and reliable performance for even the most SWaP-conscious of platforms.
