Halo is a state-of-the-art connectivity solution for UAVs and unmanned systems, leveraging powerful cellular bonding and multiple datalinks to provide low-latency high-bandwidth transmission from anywhere to anywhere.
The carrier-agnostic system can accept up to four SIM cards from multiple network providers, and can aggregate these datalinks together into a single secure network tunnel, maximizing the available bandwidth for transmission of large quantities of data. The multiple cellular links can also be used to provide critical redundancy for safety-critical applications, detecting connection issues and seamlessly switching to a backup link to ensure continuous uptime.
Drones and autonomous vehicles equipped with Halo can send and receive data via secure VPN tunnelling to Elsight’s Cloud platform or an on-premise server. Halo can also provide P2P connectivity that takes advantage of low-latency, low-cost RF links when in proximity, and switches to cellular bonding to establish a BVLOS data link.
Halo is available in two low-SWaP form factors - an OEM card that can be easily integrated into a wide variety of drones and vehicles, and a standalone enclosed version that is ideal for ground control stations and command centers.
