Boxed Halo is a rugged, self-contained communications system that delivers instant connectivity for UAVs and unmanned systems without requiring platform integration.
Once powered, it establishes a secure communications hub that bonds cellular, satellite, and RF links to provide reliable low-latency, high-bandwidth data transmission between remote assets and control centers.
Designed for use in demanding field environments, it supports operations from ground stations, temporary command posts, forward operating bases, or mobile units. The system can use multiple SIM cards from different cellular providers and combine these links within a single secure VPN tunnel to increase available bandwidth or maintain redundancy during link degradation.
When within range, Boxed Halo can also utilize P2P RF links for low-latency communication and automatically switch back to bonded cellular links for BVLOS operations.
HLS / Public Safety / DFR
Boxed Halo is suited for first responder, homeland security, and Drone as First Responder missions where communication loss can compromise situational awareness or safety. Public safety UAVs and ground platforms often depend on single cellular or radio channels that are vulnerable to jamming, terrain obstruction, or delayed failover.
Boxed Halo continuously bonds LTE, 5G, SATCOM, and RF or MANET links within a secure VPN tunnel, transmitting encrypted data packets across all available paths at the same time. This ensures uninterrupted command links, telemetry, and video streaming even when operating in congested urban areas, remote terrain, or compromised infrastructure.
Because it is fully enclosed and requires no hardware integration, agencies can deploy Boxed Halo rapidly from vehicles, mobile command units, or fixed stations to establish resilient connectivity for UAVs and UGVs.
Commercial Drone Use
For commercial UAV operations such as infrastructure inspection, powerline monitoring, rail networks, surveying, and logistics, Boxed Halo provides a reliable communication backbone in areas where single-carrier coverage is weak or inconsistent.
Instead of depending on one cellular provider or switching networks only after failure, the system keeps all available links active simultaneously and intelligently distributes data according to performance.
This enables uninterrupted live video, telemetry, and command and control during BVLOS missions, even in rural corridors, coastal regions, or industrial zones. Boxed Halo maintains secure VPN connectivity to cloud platforms or private servers and supports field teams without the need for onboard integration. It offers a portable solution for operators who need reliable communications for UAV fleets across multiple sites and changing conditions.
