Greensea IQ is a leading developer of intelligent robotics hardware and software solutions that excel in the most challenging of marine environments. Designed to overcome a wide range of challenges in the military, commercial, industrial and scientific sectors, our cutting-edge product portfolio includes rugged unmanned amphibious crawler vehicles as well as open source software frameworks that drive the next generation of marine robotics.

Bayonet AUGVs

Unmanned crawler robots for amphibious operations in challenging waters

amphibious robots

Autonomous Crawler RobotOur Bayonet AUGVs are highly versatile unmanned amphibious vehicles that can traverse land and the seabed, with the ability to reach depths down to 300 metres. The subsea crawler robots feature three modes of operation – fully autonomous, tethered, or via RF link buoy.

Thanks to their extremely low profile and high stability, the crawler robotic vehicles can operate in the surf zone and survive waves up to 6ft in height. The low power draw allows them to provide a static continuous observation capability for up to 100 days.

Advanced autonomy and precisionautonomous amphibious robots

Bayonet AUGVs are built around the OPEN Software and Equipment Architecture (OPENSEA) marine robotics platform, providing advanced autonomy and navigation technologies, and allowing hassle-free integration of a wide variety of equipment and devices.

The systems blend together single or dual RTK-capable GNSS receivers with advanced inertial navigation to provide precise navigation even when submerged.

The built-in inclinometer and pressure sensor deliver high-accuracy depth measurements.

Superior adaptability and mission performance

All Bayonet underwater robots can be equipped with a variety of field-swappable payloads, and we can also integrate custom and third party sensors for you.

Crawler RobotCrawler robots can also be equipped with a towable non-metallic sled that provides additional space for payloads as well as AUV delivery systems and extra power sources.

Possible integrations include:

  • Side scan and multibeam sonar
  • Video and photographic camerasSearch and rescue robot
  • Magnetometers
  • Acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCP)
  • CTD (conductivity, temperature, and depth) sensors
  • Dissolved oxygen probes
  • Water sampling equipment

All three Bayonet robotic vehicles are also available in a heavy-duty configuration with extra torque and power for enhanced durability and payload capacity.

OPENSEA

Open architecture software framework for marine robotics

OPENSEArobotics autonomy software (Open Software Equipment Architecture) is an open architecture framework that provides developers of marine and subsea robotics with a flexible, modular and scalable software solution to base their systems on. Users can easily add new features, plug-ins, or upgrades to the core framework without conflicts, enabling enhanced functionality with unprecedented autonomy and control.

OPENSEA is the driving force behind all Greensea IQ robotic vehicles, and is available for military and scientific developers around the world to create next-generation platforms for EOD, special operations, and research.

OPENSEA Edge

Combined hardware and software solution for subsea autonomy and edge computing

OPENSEA Edge combines the power of the OPENSEA software framework with state-of-the-art edge computing hardware to enable full autonomy capabilities for ROVs, AUVs and subsea robotics. Based around two NVIDIA processors and a Gigabit Ethernet network architecture, it allows developers to easily equip their vehicles with an array of advanced behaviours, including perception, autonomous manipulation and data-gathering, and navigation.

OPENSEA Edge autonomy solution

By shifting the computing burden from topside to the edge, bandwidth requirements for subsea vehicle communications can be relaxed, enabling the use of acoustic and satellite links instead of fiber optic and Ethernet tethers. This, in conjunction with enhanced processing capabilities, paves the way for the next generation of subsea vehicles with over-the-horizon command and control and AI-enhanced autonomy.
