The IQNS from Greensea IQ is the newest model in the company’s inertial navigation system (INS) product line, building directly on the proven GS4 INS used across the industry for years. It incorporates the NVIDIA Orin NX processing platform, a single-axis FOG for heading stability, advanced AHRS, and an integrated pressure sensor. Operating on the OPENSEA software framework, the system combines navigation, vehicle control, and perception into one compact module specifically optimized for small ocean robots.
Designed as a complete GNCC platform, the IQNS provides onboard processing power for AI/ML applications such as automatic target recognition, obstacle avoidance, and target tracking. Its architecture supports daisy-chained expansion to manage additional payloads, while maintaining compatibility with Greensea IQ’s defense-focused EOD Workspace and EOD Edge software. With open integration for aiding sensors including DVL, GPS, and odometry, the IQNS delivers precise navigation and autonomy support for next-generation unmanned underwater systems.
