D250 Electric Motors

The D250 series of axial flux motors is designed for next-generation UAV, eVTOL and UAM applications, and is ideal for either low-speed, low-power or high-speed, high-power use cases. Featuring yokeless technology and a segmented magnet architecture, the motors offer industry-leading size and weight within their performance class.

The motors can be coupled with a reduction stage to achieve required torque propeller speeds, or directly matched to propeller speeds, thus removing the need for the reduction stage for lower-power requirements. They can also be stacked to deliver increased torque and power, as well as to provide further redundancy.

The D250 features best in class peak specific torque of ~16Nm/kg, within the compact design that weighs only ~13kg and measuring ∅370mm x 125mm, enabling architectures with challenging packaging requirements.
