Kollmorgen’s next-generation TBM2G Series of frameless motors has been precision-engineered to solve the most demanding of drone and robotics design challenges, offering superior performance, scalability and flexibility. Delivering ultra-precise motion and high levels of torque in an extremely compact electromagnetics package, these motors deliver excellent load carrying capacity and fast movement, with greater efficiency and significantly lower thermal rise at practically all speeds and energy requirements.
The robust motors have been designed with rugged resilience against a wide range of demanding environmental conditions, including high-pressure water jets, deep-sea submersion, ionizing radiation, and winding temperatures of up to 155°C.
The series includes seven different frame sizes, and the windings have been specifically optimized for speed and torque requirements in 3.5 and 15 kg collaborative robot (cobot) applications.
