ParaZero Technologies has secured its first order from a U.S.-based Tier-1 defense corporation for its DefendAir Net Pods, marking a significant step in its expansion into the global Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (Counter-UAS) market.
The order supports the integration of ParaZero’s non-explosive, net-based interception technologies into advanced autonomous defense applications. This achievement represents an important step in the aerospace defense company’s efforts to potentially expand the global adoption of its specialized drone interception systems among leading defense organizations.
DefendAir is designed as a kinetic, non-explosive interception layer against hostile attack drones. The DefendAir Net Pod is specifically engineered for integration into autonomous, unmanned, and other defense platforms, enabling drone interception in operational environments where precision and reduced collateral risk are critical.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, commented, “This initial order marks an important milestone for ParaZero and a significant step forward in penetrating the world’s largest Counter-UAS market. As unmanned threats continue to evolve, we believe ParaZero’s autonomous net-based interception method will play an increasingly important role in layered Counter-UAS defense, particularly in environments where precision and reduced collateral risk are critical.”
The DefendAir product family features patented net-launching technology designed to provide a practical method for physically intercepting hostile attack drones across various scenarios. Configurations include vehicle-mounted and airborne autonomous systems, alongside man-operated portable applications for personal protection.
Moving forward, ParaZero intends to continue supporting integration efforts for its DefendAir technologies across multiple defense applications and operational use cases.
