ParaZero Technologies has secured an initial order from a new U.S.-based defense manufacturer to integrate DefendAir Net Pods and integration support into an active drone interceptor platform.
The customer develops drone detection and interception technologies under contracts to protect critical infrastructure and strategic sites. By integrating the DefendAir Net Pods, the customer adds non-explosive net interception alongside its existing hit-to-kill capability, bridging its detection and tracking systems with physical net interception to create a secondary engagement option for countering hostile unmanned aerial systems.
Ariel Alon, Chief Executive Officer of ParaZero, said, “Protecting critical infrastructure and strategic sites requires the ability to detect a drone threat and act to stop it. This initial order expands our U.S. footprint through a new platform integration, adding DefendAir’s non-explosive net interception to the customer’s existing capabilities. Our Net Pods and integration support provide the foundation for that work.”
The DefendAir product line was showcased at the AUSA Annual Meeting 2026. DefendAir is designed to serve as a final defensive layer, deploying physical net capture to stop incoming drones. Its Net Pods can be integrated into a wide variety of third-party platforms, meeting a broader demand across the U.S. counter-UAS market for adaptable interception solutions.
