ParaZero Technologies Ltd. has secured its first U.S. federal customer with an order for its DefendAir counter-unmanned aerial system from an undisclosed federal security entity.
The supply agreement includes DefendAir net launchers, Net Pods, and a dedicated on-site practical training program delivered directly by ParaZero personnel to build operator proficiency and support correct system deployment.
The adoption of DefendAir highlights a broader international shift as government, defense, and security organizations seek practical defensive capabilities to protect people, critical infrastructure, and sensitive locations from the expanding threat of small drones.
According to ParaZero, drones have rapidly evolved from primarily military concerns into security challenges affecting government facilities, public environments, and critical infrastructure worldwide. DefendAir utilizes a net-based physical interception design to neutralize hostile drones without using explosive warheads or conventional gunfire, positioning it as an interception layer within modern defensive architectures. Designed for versatility across multiple operational environments, the technology supports deployment by individual operators, mobile forces, vehicles, strategic sites, and autonomous platforms. The manually operated variant offers security personnel an immediate physical interception capability, serving as a final layer of defense where traditional kinetic or conventional methods present unacceptable collateral risk.
ParaZero approaches Counter-UAS capabilities by combining interception hardware with full operational support and hands-on preparation to ensure seamless real-world deployment.
