YellowScan has entered into a partnership with Argosdyne, centered around the EasyMapper drone solutions, which have officially received C2 Class certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Developed by Argosdyne and integrated with YellowScan’s OEM LiDAR technology, the EasyMapper platforms combine advanced drone capabilities with high-performance mapping sensors. Both EasyMapper solutions (EasyMapper-LS C2 and EasyMapper-LM C2), distinguished by their signature orange color, have been officially certified as C2 Class compliant (reference: EASA PR-318-AL-200F), a significant regulatory achievement that enables operations across the European Union under standardized drone regulations.
This certification demonstrates the systems’ compliance with strict safety, performance, and operational standards, providing customers with assurance of regulatory compliance and operational reliability.
Under this partnership, YellowScan provides OEM versions of its reputable LiDAR technology to Argosdyne, which integrates them into its EasyMapper drone platform and sells the complete bundled solution to customers, dealers, and resellers worldwide. Argosdyne will deliver technical training and first-level support, while YellowScan provides second-level technical support to ensure comprehensive customer service.
Argosdyne is actively expanding its distribution network, with particular focus on the US market. The company has already secured local drone licenses for tender biddings in Malaysia and Thailand, and is working closely with dealers across the APAC region to deploy demonstration units of the EasyMapper solution.
Teresa Hong, Senior Business Development Manager Asia-Pacific at YellowScan, stated, “This C2 classification represents a major milestone for our successful collaborative efforts with Argosdyne. It opens substantial new opportunities across the European market while reinforcing our commitment to delivering solutions that meet the highest regulatory standards.”
The EasyMapper solution has already demonstrated its capabilities through successful deployments in Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.
