YellowScan has introduced new integration solutions for the DJI Matrice 400, enabling operators to deploy the company’s full range of LiDAR payloads from a single drone platform.
The new solutions comprise a Universal Mounting Bracket and Landing Gear Extenders, developed by YellowScan’s integration engineers to provide secure and streamlined installation of its LiDAR systems on the Matrice 400.
With a payload capacity of up to 6 kg, the DJI Matrice 400 can carry YellowScan’s complete LiDAR portfolio, supporting a range of mapping and surveying applications. The new integration solutions are designed to give surveyors greater flexibility when selecting a UAV platform while retaining the ability to use the LiDAR system best suited to their operational requirements.
The Universal Mounting Bracket provides compatibility with all YellowScan LiDAR payloads and incorporates an integrated GNSS antenna for a streamlined installation. Weighing 391 g (13.8 oz), the bracket is designed to provide robust and secure payload mounting for professional operations. It also supports the installation of a rear-mounted parachute system.
For larger LiDAR systems, YellowScan has developed a Landing Gear Extenders Kit to increase the Matrice 400’s ground clearance. The kit comprises two 10 cm (3.9 in) extenders, each weighing 136 g (4.8 oz), and is designed for quick installation.
The extenders are required for YellowScan Voyager and Navigator integrations, providing additional clearance for safe takeoff, landing and field operations. They can also be used with other larger payload configurations on the Matrice 400.
Together, the Universal Mounting Bracket and Landing Gear Extenders enable operators to integrate the complete YellowScan LiDAR range with the DJI Matrice 400, providing a common platform for a variety of professional surveying and mapping missions.
