Dymax 9-20479-B-REV-A PCB maskant protects critical components and electronic assemblies from damage during conformal coating applications and wave solder and reflow processes. The product is compatible with gold and copper connector pins. When dispensed, 9-20479-B-REV-A has a bright blue color for high visibility on PCBs and easy visual inspection of material coverage. Additionally, it is also used for masking parylene conformal coatings.
The conformal coating maskant cures with UV/Visible light and is easily removed after proper cure, eliminating the risk of ionic contamination or silicone left behind by other methods. 9-20479-B-REV-A is a halogen- and silicone-free formulation that is exceptionally thixotropic for manual or automated dispensing.
