Trillium Engineering has released software version 26.1, a significant update that provides full software support for the company’s newest imaging systems and advanced payload processing.
The release marks a major milestone in platform capability with full software support for the HD59 Series and HD40-LVV. This update is designed to meet the performance demands of increasingly complex Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions through expanded sensor configurations and enhanced onboard processing.
Key technical advancements in version 26.1 include support for systems featuring up to four image sensors, spanning Electro-Optical (EO), Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR), Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR), and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) spectrums. The software now accommodates up to four integrated laser devices, such as designators, rangefinders, and pointers, depending on the specific hardware configuration. The update also supports new 64MP EO sensors and high-definition MWIR and LWIR sensor options.
Operational features include continuous zoom across wide and narrow field-of-view optical sensors, alongside rolling shutter correction for optical sensors. Networking support includes RFC3927-compliant local-link address assignments.
Beyond hardware support, the update focuses on stability and image quality. This includes improved SWIR sensor tuning and configuration options, ongoing payload stability and tuning improvements, and enhanced product identification through updated payload packet information.
According to the company, this release reflects Trillium’s continued investment in advanced payload processing, expanded sensor configurations, and the performance required to support increasingly complex ISR missions.
Software Release 26.1 is available to qualified customers and partners.
