NyxCore from Trillium Engineering is a sensor-integrated AI engine that transforms full-motion video into actionable intelligence directly at the tactical edge. Processing takes place where sensor data is captured, reducing dependence on downstream systems while supporting low-latency analysis of electro-optical and infrared imagery.
Core functions include object detection, classification, persistent tracking, and decision support, while retained data allows operators to revisit earlier events for further validation and scene analysis. As part of the Trillium Intelligence Stack, NyxCore works alongside sensor control and the Skylink mission control interface within an integrated operational environment.
Operator-focused capabilities include autonomous scanning and tracking, slew-to-cue functionality, multi-object awareness, real-time geolocation, chain-of-custody support, and BackTrack Nexus for non-linear review of previous video events.
Three NyxCore modules support different operational requirements. NyxCore-C is designed for overland detection, classification, and tracking of vehicles and people in EO and IR imagery, while NyxCore-D supports long-range, wide-area maritime search by autonomously scanning for and tracking objects with low visual signatures. NyxCore-X enables integration of customer-developed detectors and classifiers, as well as third-party or government-furnished AI models, to support specialized workflows.
The edge-based architecture allows operators to interact with classified objects without interrupting active full-motion video operations. NyxCore can be deployed onboard Trillium gimbals or through Clarity-HD, providing an embedded AI layer that combines sensor-level processing with the wider Trillium Intelligence Stack.
