All our drone test stands are bundled with our advanced RCbenchmark data acquisition software, allowing you to easily and intuitively control the stand, log data, and automate testing.

The software provides the ability to manually control ECS throttle with a slider, and to change the blade pitches of your propellers. Data can be plotted on-screen in real time, and exported to .CSV files for further processing.

Powerful scripting capabilities allow you to run any kind of automated test, including ramped endurance tests, pass/fail quality control, and RPM data capture.

Series 1585 Drone Test Stand

Professional propulsion testing for small- and medium-sized drones

quadcopter test standThe Series 1585 is a professional test stand that allows you to measure and characterize anything you need to know about your drone’s propulsion system, including thrust, torque, voltage, current, motor rotation speed, vibration, and efficiency.

With enhanced dynamic response, greater power capacity, and increased electrical noise immunity, it allows you to optimize flight time, payload and reliability for quadcopter, multirotor and fixed-wing drone designs.

The turnkey solution provides everything you need to begin testing right out of the box. It includes a built-in precision ohmmeter for motor winding resistance measurement, and features expansion ports for additional sensors such as temperature, airspeed and optical RPM probes. The included motor mounting plate allows you to test any small- to medium-sized brushless motors.

Flight Stand 15

Thrust and torque testing for small- to medium-sized UAVs

dual motor flight stand 15The Flight Stand 15 is a professional test stand for propulsion systems of small and medium-sized drones, allowing you to measure up to 15 kgf of thrust and 8 Nm of torque, as well as a variety of other parameters including RPM, current, voltage, temperature, propeller efficiency and motor efficiency.

In addition to single motors, the stand allows realistic testing of dual-motor powertrains in back-to-back, face-to-face, or offset configurations. Flight controller data can be uploaded to the test software, allowing you to recreate throttle input in real time.

The Flight Stand 15 is available in Standard or Pro versions, with the Pro providing dynamic testing over a wider range of values with higher accuracy. All of our test stands are rigorously calibrated to ASTM standards in order to ensure maximum measurement precision.

flight stand 150The Flight Stand 150 is the largest COTS drone test stand currently on the market, and is designed to meet the requirements of developers of very large drones and eVTOL aircraft. Users can precisely characterize and evaluate the performance of UAV motors and propellers, measuring up to 150 kgf of thrust and 150 Nm of torque.

The professional test stand is available in Standard or Pro variants. The Standard version is ideal for static testing, while the Pro allows real-time dynamic testing with higher accuracy and a 1 kHz sampling rate. All our stands are rigorously calibrated to ASTM standards in order to ensure maximum measurement precision.

UAV & UAM thrust stand for very large motors and propellers

UAV thrust stand for very large motorsThe Flight Stand 500 is a comprehensive test platform for testing the large brushless motors and propellers of heavy-lift eVTOL drones and UAM (urban air mobility) platforms. With a frictionless measurement system for high-accuracy results, it can sample at up to 1 kHz, enabling real-time dynamic testing and precise performance analysis.

The complete package includes a force measurement unit (FMU), an electric measurement unit (EMU), a robust tubular structure, a sync hub to synchronize measurements, an optical RPM probe, and several temperature probes. The included Flight Stand software provides intuitive operation and visualization of test plans and data.

Our new cutting-edge distributed electric propulsion test stand enables drone developers and engineers to connect up to eight motors and propellers simultaneously, quadrupling the capacity of previous solutions. Users can test a wide variety of critical parameters, including vibration, ESC responsiveness, characterization of components, and more.

Distributed Electric Propulsion Testing

With our proprietary Flight Stand software, users can control and record data for up to eight stands from a single computer. Any possible configurations can be tested, including quadcopter, hexacopter and octocopter arrangements as well as coaxial designs.

The test solution is available in three different ratings – 15 kgf, 50 kgf and 150 kgf.

Our Windshapers are modular, scalable open air wind generators that are fully customizable to meet your testing needs. Based on blocks of nine fans measuring 10 by 10 inches, Windshapers allow you to easily perform free flight tests in your own lab.

Drone wind resistance test

The included software allows you to control each fan individually, simulating conditions found in the real world. Additional test capabilities can be added including weather effects, a motion capture system, or tilting mechanisms.
