Chess Dynamics‘ OMEGA high-performance positioner has entered operational use as a critical component of the Blue Jay Horizon maritime system.
Developed by Australian defense specialist Mellori Solutions, the Blue Jay Horizon system was recently launched at the Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition in Sydney. The platform is designed to allow maritime crews to train, test, and build confidence in their sensors by simulating real-world conditions. This development highlights a growing international demand for adaptable, sovereign Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities.
The integration of the OMEGA positioner provides the system with the necessary stability to handle heavy payloads while maintaining precision. This capability is essential for navies and maritime operators who require reliable sensor performance during continuous motion and challenging environmental conditions.
