The RIEGL VUX-240 Airborne Laser Scanner took the coveted glass trophy for innovation in the hardware category at the closing event of INTERGEO 2019.
The lightweight and versatile VUX-240 fought off strong competition, convincing both the jury of experts and the public with its high performance, efficiency, and user friendliness. The airborne laser scanner can be easily mounted to unmanned platforms (UAVs), as well as to helicopters, gyrocopters, and other small manned aircrafts. With an extremely fast data acquisition rate, the sensor is perfectly suited for high point density corridor mapping applications like power line, railway track or pipeline inspections or topography in open-cast mining.
The Wichmann INTERGEO Innovation Award has been awarded now for eight years. RIEGL would like to thank Wichmann Verlag for this prestigious honor and thank the audience for their worldwide support in voting for the RIEGL VUX-240.
