Single Row, Latching, Dual Row and Panel Mount Nano-D Connectors
Omnetics’ Single Row Nano-D connectors provide a rugged, low-profile format that meets or exceeds MIL-DTL-32139 requirements. Available configurations include horizontal and vertical SMT, straight tails, horizontal and vertical thru-hole, wired connectors and jumpers, as well as a Single Row MIL-DTL-32139 QPL option.
Latching Nano-D connectors provide the same rugged, high-reliability performance as standard Nano-D connectors while replacing threaded jackscrews with a Quick Latching connector system. The system requires no tools, with surface-mount, flex-mount, straight thru-hole and pre-wired configurations available.
Dual Row Nano-D connectors meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-DTL-32139 and are intended to occupy less space and reduce interconnect-system weight in critical miniaturized electronic modules. Configurations include horizontal and vertical SMT, straight-tail, horizontal and vertical thru-hole, flex-mount, pre-wired and jumper versions. The wider Dual Row offering also includes COTS Nano-D, Standard Nano-D, a Dual Row MIL-DTL-32139 QPL configuration and Dual Row Connector Savers.
For board and panel mounting, the Panel Mount Nano-D range is available in horizontal SMT, straight-tail, flex-mount and pre-wired configurations. These miniature connectors are frequently used in Mil-Aero, Geophysical and Medical markets.

Nano-D / Bi-Lobe® Single Row Horizontal SMT (AA)
The Nano-D / Bi-Lobe® Single Row Horizontal SMT (AA) provides an extremely low-profile package suited to pick-and-place mounting methods. Contacts are arranged on .025″ (.64 mm) centerlines.
The connector incorporates Omnetics’ gold-plated Flex Pin contact system and conforms to the requirements of MIL-DTL-32139. Omnetics describes the configuration as a rugged, lightweight connector suitable for demanding applications.
Threaded mounting holes are available for PCB and flex mounting. Standard configurations range from 5 through 51 positions, with custom configurations also available.
The horizontal SMT version sits within a broader Single Row family that also encompasses vertical SMT, straight-tail, horizontal and vertical thru-hole, wired and jumper configurations.
Nano-D / Bi-Lobe® Connectors – Latches – Pre-Wired (WD)
The Nano-D / Bi-Lobe® Connectors – Latches – Pre-Wired (WD) configuration incorporates Omnetics’ quick latch system, which requires no tools for operation.
These connectors use the company’s Flex Pin contact system, with contacts spaced on 25 mil (.64 mm) centerlines and capable of carrying 1 amp per contact. The connectors exceed the shock and vibration requirements of MIL-DTL-32139.
Latching Bi-Lobe® connectors are available with pin counts from 9 to 65. The latching format can also be configured with discrete wires, overmolded cable, panel mount housings and PCB-mounted versions.
The Pre-Wired (WD) version forms part of the wider Latching Nano-D category, which also includes surface-mount, flex-mount and straight thru-hole configurations.
