Innovative High-Energy Density Battery Solutions for UAVs and Unmanned Systems

Tulip Tech is Europe’s strategic power partner for mission-critical UAV systems, going beyond the role of a traditional battery supplier. The company designs and manufactures high-density, customizable battery systems with rigorous production standards within Europe. By continuously testing the latest cell advancements, analyzing chemistries for their intended use, and integrating them with ultra-lightweight materials, Tulip Tech delivers industry-leading energy density at the pack level.

Tulip Tech

At Tulip Tech, every battery pack is engineered to empower the next generation of commercial and military drones to fly farther, last longer, and perform reliably under the most demanding conditions.

Advantages include:

/ Boosting drone flight-times by up to 100%

Industry-leading pack-level energy density — from 350 to 600 Wh/kg — makes the difference between a mission completed and a mission cut short.

/ A production capacity of 1 Million batteries per year

Delivering top quality at scale from our automated factory in the Netherlands

/ Made in EU

Top-quality Western-sourced components, designed and built in-house. We work exclusively with NATO-compliant cell suppliers, ensuring secure supply chains for defense-sensitive applications.

Tulip Tech manufactures custom power solutions specifically tailored to the requirements of drones and autonomous vehicles. These smart batteries can include built in BMS (Battery Management Systems), with seamless communications and telemetry via CAN or SMBus. Every bespoke battery pack is designed to meet specific voltage, capacity, and mechanical specifications while incorporating customized hardware and software features to suit the intended application.

What Makes Tulip Tech Different?

High-Density as Standard
Tulip Tech stands for one thing: high-density. While the industry default runs at ~200 Wh/kg, its packs deliver 350–600 Wh/kg at the pack level. By continuously testing and sourcing the latest cell advancements, analyzing chemistries for their intended use, and integrating them with aerospace-grade materials, the company delivers a pack no commodity supplier can match.

Tulip Tech ISO EU Made in Europe European Standards
Tulip Tech stands for building reliable battery systems with high production standards, right here in Europe. By partnering with VDL and the Dutch government, the company is building a factory in the Netherlands capable of producing 1 million battery packs per year. By working exclusively with NATO-compliant cell suppliers and operating as a fully autonomous factory, Tulip Tech ensures secure supply chains while remaining highly cost-competitive at scale.

Automated Processes
Delivering top quality at scale, the facility will have the capability to produce up to one million battery packs for drones, supporting both commercial and defense applications.

Standard Packs

Tulip Tech’s lithium-ion battery systems are designed for high-performance applications requiring reliable power, specifically for drone applications.

A lightweight and compact design ensures a high energy density, suitable for a range of use cases, making them ideal for portable and space-constrained applications.

Peak discharge is often limited by the connector, and Tulip Tech is able to swap connectors based on customer requirements.
