Tulip Tech, a manufacturer of high-performance drone batteries in Europe, is responding to the growing demand for advanced drone technology with the opening of its new U.S. offices.

This expansion reinforces the company’s mission to provide Western-made power solutions that enhance drone performance and operational efficiency.

Tulip Tech specializes in designing and producing advanced drone batteries that significantly extend flight times. Using high-quality battery cells, its energy-dense battery systems deliver efficiency gains of 30% to 100%, enabling drones to fly longer and operate more reliably in demanding environments.

Bernd Rietberg, CEO of Tulip Tech, said, “Our batteries are already trusted by over 30 paying clients, including NASA, Harvard, and leading drone OEMs such as Texas-based Hylio.

“By delivering unprecedented energy density, we’re enabling drone developers to focus on innovation rather than worrying about supply chain disruptions.”

Alexander Nijst, Business Development Manager, added, “We’re delighted to bring our proven drone battery technology to the US market.

“This move not only addresses the immediate crisis but ensures America’s drone future is powered by secure, high-performance energy sources.”

The establishment of Tulip Tech’s U.S. operations is seen as a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. With plans to manufacture extreme-density drone batteries domestically through U.S.-based contract manufacturing, Tulip Tech is aligning with national interests while fostering innovation on American soil. By producing Made-in-USA power solutions, the company is poised to support defense, commercial, and industrial drone operators with enhanced energy capabilities tailored to their needs.
