Boxfish Robotics is set to participate in the Ocean Action Forum 2025, October 27-28, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Stand B2.
The company will present its autonomous platforms, the Boxfish AUV and ARV-i, which are designed for applications including coral reef monitoring, benthic surveys, and photogrammetry. These systems provide high-resolution, sub-millimetre geo-referenced imaging and allow for continuous monitoring in marine environments, serving both operational and research needs.
The company anticipates meeting with customers and partners to discuss inspection needs across marine infrastructure and habitats, digital twin applications for asset tracking and environmental modelling, and opportunities for regional collaboration focused on innovation, conservation, and sustainable development.
The Ocean Action Forum is a regional platform that aims to advance marine sustainability and innovation, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The event gathers experts and decision-makers to explore practical solutions for ocean resilience and health. It is designed to address key opportunities and challenges in sustainable ocean industries and marine conservation.
Stakeholders from industry, academia, and government will convene at the forum to collaborate on several topics. These topics include climate resilience and adaptation, pollution reduction and waste management, sustainable fishing and aquaculture, and marine ecosystem restoration covering mangroves, coral reefs, and seagrass.
The forum will also cover blue economy development through innovation and strategic partnerships, as well as ocean technologies such as satellite monitoring, AI, and robotics.
