CRP Technology, a pioneer in professional 3D printing with advanced Windform® composite materials and part of the CRP Group, returns to Drone X for the second year in a row, Booth DX106,September 30-October 1, 2025, ExCeL London.
CRP Technology will showcase a range of flight-ready drone components manufactured using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and its patented Windform materials.
At Drone X, visitors will see how CRP Technology leverages Windform materials, Carbon- or Glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic, to produce rugged yet lightweight UAV parts, including:
- Modular arms and bodies with high strength-to-weight ratio
- Gearbox housings and fuselages designed for aerodynamic efficiency
- Structural elements with embedded multi-functional features
- Parts that combine structural roles with electronic housing, enabling compact, integrated systems
Franco Cevolini, CEO and CTO at CRP Technology, said, “The UAV sector has matured significantly. Developers are asking for more: lightweight structures that don’t sacrifice strength, built-in functionality, and solutions that can perform in harsh environments. With Windform composites and Selective Laser Sintering, we deliver just that—custom, reliable, and ready to fly.”
Alex Giugni, CRP Technology’s Head of Sales, Modena Plant, will join the speaker line-up at Drone X Expo 2025 with a talk titled, “Advanced Additive Thinking: UAV Structures from Civil to Tactical.”
Alex Giugni will share CRP’s extensive experience in applying high-performance composite materials and SLS technology to develop next-generation UAV components for both commercial and defense sectors. The session will take place on Day 2, Wednesday, October 1, at the “Future of Flight Theatre,” from 2:45pm to 3:15pm.
