Windform® RS is a high-performance carbon-fiber-reinforced polyamide composite developed by CRP Technology for advanced Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) applications. Purpose-built for unmanned systems operating in extreme conditions, Windform® RS exhibits an exceptional balance of strength, ductility, and resistance to impact and environmental stress. With a tensile strength of 85.25 MPa and an elongation at break nearing 10%, it delivers both rigidity and flexibility—enabling drone structures that can withstand vibration, mechanical shocks, and sub-zero temperatures as low as -40°C without compromise.
This rugged thermoplastic boasts an HDT of nearly 192°C at 1.82 MPa, ensuring thermal stability in high-temperature flight scenarios. Its inherent resistance to water and chemicals, effective from just 1 mm of part thickness, makes it suitable for UAV systems exposed to rain, dust, and corrosive environments. Combined with a lightweight density of 1.10 g/cc, Windform® RS supports the fabrication of custom or pre-series components with aerospace-grade reliability. It is especially well-suited to functional drone parts, enclosures, mounts, and mission-critical subsystems that demand long-term mechanical resilience and dimensional stability.
