Cambridge Pixel believes that traditional command and control display applications often force a compromise between fully bespoke software, which is time-consuming and costly to develop, and COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) software, which is often not flexible enough to meet project requirements. The VSD-C2 provides a hybrid solution that combines the best of both worlds.
This enhanced version of the Video Security Display allows for extensive customisation, enabling branding, layout, and functionality to be fully tailored. Features include a diverse selection of display windows, accommodating both 2D and 3D sensor feeds, live video, fused PPI radar, and innovative options such as a 3D view and a panorama display. Customised, multi-step workflows can be implemented with inbuilt support for a variety of off-the-shelf effector technologies, including hailing devices, dazzlers and inhibitors/jammers. The software also supports real-time overlaid symbology, as well as background maps or charts. Additionally, VSD-C2 is designed to support multi-screen operator displays, enhancing operational efficiency.
Integration is seamless with VSD-C2, thanks to its support for Open Standards and compatibility with a wide and growing range of sensors and effectors. The software is also fully integratable with Cambridge Pixel’s suite of modular solutions, enabling the addition of radar interfacing, target tracking, track fusion and distribution, camera slew-to-cue, multi-sensor recording, and more—offering a comprehensive C2 system tailored to specific operational requirements.
