IMSAR, partnered with Krause Hamdani Aerospace (KMA), integrated an NSP-3 radar with KMA’s K1000ULE unmanned aerial system.
The system’s performance was successfully demonstrated during a rigorous July–August 2025 field exercise at Pendleton, OR. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in tactical ISR capabilities, delivering critical intelligence to enhance situational awareness.
The NSP-3 is an all-weather, multi-mode SAR designed for Group 2 and 3 UAS, supporting land and maritime intelligence-gathering operations both day and night. Its low-SWaP architecture includes a modular payload enclosure for the radar and processing electronics, and an external pod for the antenna subsystem.
