Hitec Commercial Solutions has introduced the MD141SH-CAN, a slim-wing servo actuator developed for modern uncrewed systems.
With a case width of just 10mm, the micro servo is designed for thin-wing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) installations and flight control surfaces including ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudders, and horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
The actuator combines dual ball bearings, steel gears, a coreless motor, and a contactless magnetic rotary encoder to support precise and reliable control. Its multi-turn capability, slim profile, and support for advanced command protocols also make it suitable for complex sUAS and drone mechanisms.
Hitec identifies further applications including miniature pan-tilt camera gimbals for stabilized imaging, precise antenna tracking systems, and payload deployment mechanisms requiring continuous feedback.
The MD141SH-CAN operates across a voltage range of 4.0V to 8.4V. At 7.4V, it delivers 7.0 kgf-cm (97.21 oz-in) of torque and a no-load speed of 0.10 sec/60°. The actuator weighs 26.7 grams (0.942 oz).
A 32-bit programmable digital circuit supports the actuator’s control functions, while its internal components are housed within an aluminum alloy case. The actuator uses CAN and DroneCAN command protocols and measures 30 x 10 x 29.5 mm (1.18 x 0.39 x 1.16 in).
The MD141SH-CAN is NDAA compliant and RoHS compliant according to EU 2015/863. Hitec Commercial Solutions is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
Available under stock number 40141C, the MD141SH-CAN carries a MAP price of $159.99.
