In 2025, Hitec Commercial Solutions (HCS) will introduce a new range of servos designed to meet the precision control requirements of unmanned systems.
The new lineup includes three distinct servo actuator series, SR, SU, and BD, each developed for specific operational environments and performance demands.
SR-Series: Redundant Servo Systems
The SR-Series is built for applications requiring redundant control systems. These servos operate on 12V or 24V power and feature a compact 33mm case. Utilizing Maxon brushless DC motors (BLDC), the SR-Series supports multiple control protocols, including CAN, DroneCAN, RS-485, and PWM. They are equipped with contactless magnetic encoders for position sensing and include both main and redundant connectors. The SR-Series also holds an IP68 waterproof rating and is fully programmable.
SU-Series: Underwater Operation
Engineered for underwater functionality, the SU-Series operates at 12V or 24V with a 33mm case size. It is powered by brushless DC motors and offers the same range of control interfaces as the SR-Series. The servos include contactless magnetic encoders and dual connectors. Designed for extreme environmental conditions, the SU-Series achieves an IP69K waterproof rating and provides full programmability.
BD-Series: Brushless Drone Servos
The BD-Series targets drone applications and features two compact case sizes, 10mm and 20mm. These servos operate within a voltage range of 4.0V to 8.4V and use non-China sourced brushless DC motors. Control is managed through CAN and DroneCAN interfaces. They incorporate contactless magnetic encoders for precision, and the case is made from PEEK material. The waterproof ratings are IP66 for the BD20 model and IP4X for the BD10 model. Like the other series, the BD-Series is fully programmable.
Each of these new servos is tailored to meet specific technical and environmental requirements, offering a range of solutions for unmanned systems in 2025.
