ParaZero Technologies has secured an additional order for its DefendAir multi-layered Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solution from a second branch of an Israeli defense entity.
The DefendAir system utilizes a patent-protected net-launching mechanism that has demonstrated a 100% interception rate in trials against high-speed threats, including FPV kamikaze drones and heavy-lift logistics platforms.
The expanded contract follows a successful initial deployment earlier this year and includes specialized high-precision net-launchers designed for both urban and field environments. These launchers facilitate “soft-kill” interceptions of hostile drones, a method intended to minimize collateral damage compared to traditional kinetic or explosive countermeasures.
The order encompasses interception pods compatible with handheld, stationary, and drone-mounted configurations, alongside a comprehensive training package. This package features simulation-based and live-fire modules covering system integration, maintenance, and tactical deployment to ensure operational readiness for troops and the protection of critical infrastructure.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, commented, “We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with leading Israeli Defense Entities through this second order from an additional branch. We believe that DefendAir represents a paradigm shift in counter-drone technology, and this contract validates our commitment to delivering reliable, innovative solutions that enhance national security. We look forward to potentially supporting more defense entities around the world with our cutting-edge systems and expert training.”
