Neousys Technology, a leading provider of rugged embedded computers, has expanded its POC compact computer series with the new POC-766AWP.
This device is the first IP67-rated offering in the series and is engineered for exceptional computing performance and reliability in environments with high moisture or dust. The POC-766AWP combines a compact footprint with the processing power of the Intel Core i3-N series. The new computer further strengthens the company’s portfolio of extremely rugged computers alongside the existing SEMIL IP67 series.
Powered by the Intel Core i3-N305 processor, which features eight E-cores and DDR5 memory, the POC-766AWP is capable of handling AI vision inspection, complex data processing, and real-time edge analytics. It maintains a stable operating temperature across a range of -25°C to 70°C, ensuring consistent performance in extreme industrial conditions.
The unit’s stainless steel and aluminum hybrid chassis provides full dust protection and has passed rigorous immersion chamber testing, making it suitable for demanding sanitary environments such as food processing and high-humidity facilities.
For integrators and field maintenance teams, the POC-766AWP features industrial-grade M12 locking connectors. These include dual X-coded 2.5GbE ports, three isolated DIO, and one CAN 2.0B interface, which ensure secure and reliable connections even in scenarios involving high vibration.
The system offers exceptional deployment flexibility, with a wide-range 8–35V DC input, ignition power control, and multiple mounting options, including flattop, wall-mount, and DIN-rail. This allows it to perform reliably as an onboard controller, a factory node, or an outdoor edge AI endpoint.
