Neousys Technology has launched the POC-960GC, an ultra-compact x86-based industrial computer designed to bring high-performance GPU acceleration and artificial intelligence inference to space-constrained edge deployments.
Targeting system designers and engineers in industrial automation, robotics, and machine vision, the platform combines an AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U processor with built-in Ryzen AI capabilities to deliver up to 31 TOPS of total system-on-chip performance for hybrid AI processing. To handle demanding deep learning inference, the architecture supports scaling via a PCIe Gen4 x16 slot (operating at x8 signal) capable of hosting a low-profile discrete NVIDIA GPU up to 70W, such as the NVIDIA RTX Pro 2000.
Measuring 174.6 x 159 x 77 mm, the small-form-factor design enables deployment directly into physical space constraints such as robotic arms, automated inspection systems, and mobile platforms. Peripheral and industrial control integration is provided through four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, isolated DIO, serial ports, one 2.5GbE port, and four standard GbE ports. System expansion and storage options include M.2 NVMe support, auxiliary fan modules, dual mini-PCIe slots for Wi-Fi or LTE/5G wireless modules, and an optional Power over Ethernet Plus setup supporting up to a 100W total power budget.
To ensure long-term operational reliability in harsh industrial environments, the platform complies with MIL-STD-810H standards for shock and vibration while supporting operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C. Power management is supported via a wide-range 12–35V DC input featuring built-in ignition control, rounding out its deployment capabilities for edge applications.
