Wolf Advanced Technology (WOLF) has developed the IGX Thor product line, a new family of rugged, SOSA-aligned computing module solutions accelerated by the NVIDIA® IGX Thor™ platform.
The IGX Thor modules deliver data-center-class AI performance at the tactical edge, combining NVIDIA’s advanced GPU architecture with WOLF’s expertise in ruggedization, cooling, and secure embedded computing.
WOLF’s new line includes the 16TZ, 16T0, 16T5, and 16T1 modules, each developed to meet demanding requirements of C5ISR, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) applications across defense, aerospace, and industrial domains.
These modules are powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture, and enable unprecedented AI throughput, low-latency data processing, and system-level security for mission-critical operations.
Each of WOLF’s modules provides 2070 FP4 TFLOPs of AI compute, powered by an embedded Blackwell GPU with 2560 CUDA cores and 96 Gen 5 Tensor Cores. These systems, with 128GB of ECC LPDDR5X memory, are engineered for deep learning inference, sensor fusion, computer vision, and autonomous mission systems.
The series is designed for the harshest environments, operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The modules can withstand shocks up to 40G and vibrations up to 10G, ensuring reliable performance in mission-critical deployments.
Each module features WOLF’s proprietary cooling system, which efficiently dissipates over 100W of thermal load to maintain reliable performance in extreme conditions. This creates a robust, SWaP-optimized platform that delivers consistent AI performance without compromise.
Module Flexibility & Applications
WOLF’s IGX Thor line offers flexible configurations to meet diverse application requirements, ranging from maximum AI performance and multi-domain networking to safety-certified and video-focused system designs.
The 16TZ module pairs IGX Thor with a ConnectX-7 SmartNIC, offering two x8 PCIe slots, 40/100G-KR and 10/25-KR networking (SOSA 14.6.11/13). It is ideal for high-performance AI compute and data fusion tasks.
The 16T0 combines IGX Thor, ConnectX-7, and WOLF’s FGX2 FPGA, with x4 PCIe, 40/100G-KR, two 10/25-KR, Video In/Out, and USB (SOSA 14.2.16). This module is developed for advanced video capture and format conversion.
The 16T5 features IGX Thor with ConnectX-7 SmartNIC, x4 PCIe, 40/100G-KR, two 10/25-KR, DP Video Out, USB, CAN Bus, and 2.5GBase-T (SOSA 14.2.16), making it suited for general-purpose AI computing and networking.
The 16T1 integrates IGX Thor with a PCIe Gen4 switch and safety features, offering three x4 PCIe, DP Video Out, USB, CAN Bus, and 2.5GBase-T (SOSA 14.2.16). It is designed for safety-critical and autonomous applications.
