WOLF Advanced Technology, a designer and manufacturer of rugged high-performance board, module, and system-level embedded computing solutions, has formally secured Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, validating its adherence to strict U.S. Department of Defense cybersecurity protocols.
As one of the first Canadian companies to attain this certification, WOLF has demonstrated a robust capability to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). This milestone supports the company’s operations within the aerospace, defense, and rugged computing sectors, ensuring alignment with the heightened security expectations of the defense supply chain.
Utpal Patel, Vice President of IT & Cybersecurity, said, “Achieving CMMC Level 2 is a major step in demonstrating how deeply cybersecurity is embedded in everything we do at WOLF. It validates the trust our defense partners place in us and reinforces our commitment to protecting critical information and national security interests. By meeting these standards, we’re strengthening our own systems and helping build a more secure and resilient defense supply chain.”
This latest accreditation complements the company’s existing qualifications, which include AS9100 certification for quality management and Joint Certification Program (JCP) approval for handling controlled defense information. Collectively, these certifications confirm that WOLF meets the operational standards required to function as a qualified partner within the global defense ecosystem.
The CMMC Level 2 status provides assurance to partners that WOLF applies a disciplined approach to security, extending from initial concept and design through to production. The certification verifies that the company’s engineering and manufacturing processes are backed by systems designed to protect sensitive data and mission-critical assets.
