Inertial Labs, a subsidiary of VIAVI Solutions Inc., has unveiled the M-AJ-QUATRO anti-jamming antenna system, designed for Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (A-PNT) in environments where GPS/GNSS signals are compromised.
Utilizing cutting-edge Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) technology alongside advanced digital processing, the M-AJ-QUATRO is engineered for a variety of applications, spanning from military missions to commercial aviation.
This system functions efficiently across the full L1, L2, and L5 GNSS bands, delivering strong interference mitigation and secure signal processing. With adaptive digital nulling capabilities, it actively counteracts jamming signals, offering more than 34dB+ interference suppression in the export-free model and exceeding 45dB+ in the export-controlled version. Its jammer direction-finding feature enables the detection and isolation of interference sources, enhancing both situational awareness and operational efficiency.

Built for multi-constellation support, the M-AJ-QUATRO is compatible with GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, and QZSS, ensuring comprehensive global coverage. Its dual FPGA-based encryption and anti-spoofing capabilities provide enhanced data integrity, securing mission-critical operations. Designed for durability in extreme environments, this system complies with stringent MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F standards, making it a reliable choice for defense and aerospace applications as the demand for PNT services continues to rise.
PNT services are increasingly essential for the reliable operation of key industries such as transportation, AI-driven hyperscale data centers, telecommunications, energy, finance, and defense. Government agencies and industry leaders are intensifying efforts to combat GNSS jamming and spoofing threats. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) are accelerating the approval process for CRPA technology to enhance aviation safety and mitigate terrestrial-based GPS interference.
Jamie Marraccini, Vice President, Inertial Labs Products, VIAVI, commented, “As the FAA and NAWCAD push for CRPA integration into commercial aircraft, M-AJ-QUATRO is positioned as a market-ready solution for both military and civilian applications. With regulatory shifts streamlining CRPA adoption, this launch marks a significant step in ensuring secure, interference-free navigation for mission-critical operations.”
