The IRINS-DM is an advanced OEM7 GNSS receiver–based navigation system that integrates multi-sensor fusion to deliver assured positioning, navigation, and timing in highly contested or signal-degraded environments. It combines a NovAtel OEM7 GNSS receiver with a LEO STL-2600 receiver, a tactical-grade MEMS inertial measurement unit, a gyro-stabilized fluxgate compass, barometric altitude sensing, and an embedded air data computer. This tightly integrated architecture enables continuous estimation of position, velocity, attitude, and time, even when satellite signals are degraded or unavailable.
At its core, the system employs Inertial Labs’ sensor fusion processing and advanced navigation logic designed to maintain stability under jamming, spoofing, and GNSS disruption conditions. Optional onboard signal translation capability allows conversion of computed navigation data into a simulated GPS RF output on L1/L2 bands, enabling compatibility with external GNSS-dependent systems. The IRINS-DM is designed for integration into platforms requiring resilient PNT performance across complex operational domains, including unmanned aerial, ground, surface, and maritime systems.
The system supports a broad range of mission profiles such as UAV navigation, loitering strike platforms, unmanned surface vessels, ground robotics, and both manned and unmanned maritime navigation. It also supports roles in battle management systems, blue force tracking networks, and dynamic positioning operations where continuity of navigation data is critical.
