Neousys Technology, a developer of industrial-grade rugged embedded computing systems for autonomous vehicles and robotic platforms, has unveiled the Nuvo-11000 series of rugged, fanless embedded computers.
Engineered to meet the demanding requirements of industrial environments, this embedded computing series leverages Intel’s Core Ultra 200 processors, built on TSMC’s advanced 3nm photolithography. The result is a high-performance computing solution that excels in reliability, power efficiency, and AI-driven capabilities.
With a design that integrates Neousys’ signature rugged DNA, the Nuvo-11000 series ensures uncompromising performance and seamless system upgrades, even in the harshest environments.
Unmatched Computational Performance with AI Integration
At the core of the Nuvo-11000 series is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 200S processor (code-named Arrow Lake), enhanced by an integrated AI NPU, offering an impressive 1.2× increase in CPU performance. With Artificial Intelligence computing capabilities reaching up to 36 TOPs, this platform transforms industrial computing, optimizing performance for a broad spectrum of applications. Supporting DDR5-6400 memory and PCIe Gen5, the Nuvo-11000 enhances data throughput, providing exceptional power for complex workloads.
The series delivers substantial performance improvements over previous generations, supporting the latest NVMe SSDs via an M.2 Gen5x4 slot, achieving read/write speeds exceeding 11,000 MB/s. Coupled with up to 96 GB of non-ECC DDR5-6400 SDRAM, it ensures seamless multitasking and efficient handling of high-performance applications.
Rugged Design with Advanced I/O Connectivity
True to Neousys’ legacy of durability, the Nuvo-11000 series is engineered for operation in extreme conditions, boasting a fanless design that withstands wide temperature ranges (-25°C to 70°C) and wide-range DC inputs (8V to 48V). It also includes comprehensive I/O connectivity to support a variety of industrial needs:
- Six 2.5GbE/GbE Ethernet ports with PoE+ capability
- One optional 10GbE port for high-bandwidth applications
- Up to eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports for fast data transfer
- Three 4K video outputs (1 HDMI, 2 DisplayPort)
For enhanced scalability, the Nuvo-11000 series integrates Neousys’ proprietary Expansion Cassette Module and MezIO® Interface. The Cassette Module ensures ease of installation and maintenance while providing passive cooling during operation. It supports up to two PCIe x16 slots @ Gen4 for the integration of GPUs, frame grabbers, power backup modules, and more. The MezIO® interface allows for the addition of I/Os, including RS-232/422/485, isolated DIO, ignition power control, USB 3.2 Gen 1, GigE, and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports.
Simplified Upgrades and Future-Proof Compatibility
Designed with backward compatibility in mind, the Nuvo-11000 series allows existing users to easily upgrade their systems without significant changes to infrastructure. The series retains the same form factor and I/O layout as its predecessors, ensuring a smooth transition to higher computational power and faster data transfer speeds.
Available in various models, including the Nuvo-11501, Nuvo-11531, and Nuvo-11160GC, the Nuvo-11000 series provides tailored solutions for different industry needs, from size constraints to GPU requirements and computing power. Whether you’re looking to enhance AI capabilities, boost data throughput, or ensure reliable performance in demanding environments, the Nuvo-11000 series delivers a future-proof solution that grows with your needs.
