Neousys Technology has announced its participation in the research and development of embedded computing platforms based on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin System-on-Module (SoM).
The participation aims to enable emerging edge AI applications in harsh factory and outdoor environments.
Neousys’ rugged fanless edge AI platforms, the NRU-100 series, with built-in NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier SoM, has been successfully implemented into edge AI applications such as camera sensor hubs, autonomous vehicles, roadside units, mobile robotics, and more.
The key feature of the Neousys NRU series, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI platform, is full integration with Neousys DNA characteristics, such as true fanless wide temperature operations from -25°C to 70°C, wide-range voltage input, and stable operations in shock and vibration environments. By combining a variety of I/O and camera interfaces such as industrial USB, GigE, or GMSL cameras, the NRU series perfectly complements the AI inference power of NVIDIA Jetson.
Continuing the success of the NRU-100 series, Neousys will launch the NRU-50 series in the second half of 2022. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX SoM, the NRU-50 series inherits the rugged designs, and integrates GMSL2 camera interface and IEEE 802.3bt PoE++, giving it advanced vision AI capabilities. With 21 TOPS AI performance brought by Jetson Xavier NX, the platform can satisfy edge AI deep learning inference deployments for real-time video analytics and autonomous vehicle applications.
Dedicated to building a complete product portfolio that satisfies various edge AI applications, Neousys also announced it will actively devote resources to the development of new NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin-based platforms to allow integrators and end users to enjoy the benefits of AI infrastructure without thermal or environmental constraints.
