Unmanned Systems & Autonomous Technologies for Land, Air & Sea

VectaCore is an innovative manufacturer of advanced unmanned systems and autonomous technologies for demanding industrial and public safety missions.

With over 25 years of experience in the UxV industry, built on a secure European supply chain for crucial parts, VectaCore is committed to creating trusted and reliable unmanned solutions that solve the most demanding of challenges. VectaCore’s systems are designed to enhance safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and are ready for large-scale industrialization.

VC-35G Unmanned Helicopter System

The VC-35 System is an integrated unmanned aircraft system that encompasses an advanced modular helicopter UAV platform, long-range datalink, and rugged ground control station. Designed for demanding automated missions over any terrain, it can be rapidly deployed in service of a wide range of commercial, industrial and public safety operations.

VC-35G Unmanned Helicopter

The VC-35G is a gasoline-powered unmanned helicopter with a maximum payload capacity of 35 kg and flight endurance of 3 to 6 hours. The platform’s highly efficient boxer engine ensures optimized fuel consumption and delivers a top speed of 108 km/h.

Synchronized Flettner double rotors provide stable flight in severe winds of up to 40 km/h, making the platform ideal for operations in challenging maritime environments and harsh weather.VetaCore VC-35 Unmanned Helicopter System

Modular Payload Integration

The VC-35G offers four different payload interfaces for maximum versatility – a 1 kg nose mount, a symmetrical 20 kg side mount, a 30 kg belly or landing skid mount, and a 5kg tail mount. The aircraft’s generous 35 kg lift capacity allows it to be equipped with a wide range of payloads, sensors and equipment for multi-mission capabilities.

Available options include cargo boxes, cameras and scanners for inspection and monitoring, and LiDAR scanners for geospatial data collection.

The platform also provides 14, 28 and 48 V onboard voltage levels and up to 800 W of external power for onboard equipment.

VC-DLR-X Data Link

The VC-DLR-X datalink provides real-time transmission between the VC-35G and ground over distances of up to 200 km. Available in L-, S- and C-band configurations, the system offers selectable bandwidths of 1.25, 2.5, 5 and 10 MHz to accommodate different communications requirements.

The ground communications equipment can be provided as a ground or vehicle module, with a typical range of 10 km, or with a tripod- or mast-mounted radome for links extending up to the full range of 200 km.

VC-GCS-TAC Ground Control Station

The VC-GCS-TAC is a transportable ground control station housed in two ruggedized carry cases, with a total weight of up to 30 kg. Its hard-shell enclosure is engineered to protect against impact, shock, dust and water ingress. Displays measuring 14 to 15.6 inches provide brightness of up to 1,000 nits, and an external payload interface allows integration of a wide range of additional equipment.

The GCS provides a variety of essential capabilities including intelligent mission planning. During automated missions, operators can monitor live telemetry and retain authority to override or abort the operation.

VectaCore VC-GCS-TAC Ground Control Station GCS-TacticalVectaCore also offers customers a comprehensive suite of services, including:

  • Full after-sales support & maintenance
  • Complete spare parts availability
  • Comprehensive operator training
  • Pilot programs & system integration support
  • Certification support

Heavy payload air mobility meets long endurance, vast transmission range, and automated mission cycles.

Use Cases

Offshore Cargo Delivery

The VC-35 System automates delivery of parts and tools to wind turbines and offshore infrastructure, helping maintenance teams deal with missing equipment and component requirements. Its cargo capacity, wind tolerance and cost-effectiveness allow it to overcome the disadvantages associated with electric UAVs and manned helicopters.

VectaCore Offshore Cargo Delivery

Operators begin by setting the mission target and payload in the planning software. The helicopter then performs autonomous takeoff, transit and navigation under ground station supervision. On arrival, the system’s drop mode lowers the payload to the technician, and the aircraft then returns home and automatically records the mission logs.

Wildfire Monitoring & Response

The VC-35G is ideal for providing sustained aerial observation over active wildfires, delivering live visual and thermal feeds to incident commanders. Thermal mapping identifies hotspots, fire perimeters and changes in spread, giving teams up-to-the-minute information for coordinating resources and guiding ground crews.

The aircraft can establish an observation position over a focal area and maintain a live view as the incident develops. Extended endurance and infrared imaging enable prolonged monitoring and observation even at night and in low-visibility conditions.
