The VC-35 is an integrated unmanned aircraft system combining the VC-35G helicopter, VC-DLR-X long-range data link and VC-GCS-TAC rugged ground control station. Powered by an efficient gasoline boxer engine, the aircraft delivers 3 to 6 hours of endurance and a maximum payload capacity of 35 kg. Its synchronized Flettner double rotors maintain stable flight in winds of up to 40 km/h, making it ideal for offshore cargo delivery and demanding industrial and public safety missions.
Four payload mounting positions accommodate a wide range of equipment including cargo boxes, inspection cameras and scanners, and LiDAR equipment for geospatial data collection. The aircraft supplies up to 800 W of external power for onboard equipment.
The VC-DLR-X provides real-time communications over distances of up to 200 km, with L-, S- and C-band configurations available. A compact ground or vehicle module offers a typical 10 km range, and a tripod- or mast-mounted radome enables longer-range links.
Housed in two protective carry cases, the VC-GCS-TAC provides mission planning. Operators can monitor live telemetry and override or abort automated missions.
