SeaBat Forward-Looking Sonars
SeaBat forward-looking sonars provide acoustic imagery for obstacle detection, inspection, object classification, and terrain mapping. Models vary in frequency, field of view, imaging range, and depth rating.
- SeaBat F20: Forward-looking sonar available at 200 or 400 kHz, with maximum-range options of 300 or 600 m and depth-rating options of 400 or 6,000 m.
- SeaBat F50: High-resolution 200 or 400 kHz sonar illuminating a 140° horizontal sector. Maximum range is 300 or 600 m, with depth-rating options of 50, 400, or 6,000 m.
- SeaBat 7123-MkII: 100, 200, or 400 kHz sonar for inspection, water-column object detection, and research applications. Maximum range is 800 m and depth rating is 500 m.
- SeaBat F30: Forward-looking sonar with 200 kHz and 635 kHz operating modes. The lower frequency supports longer-range detection, while the higher frequency supports finer classification; range options are 250 or 500 m and the depth rating is 6,000 m.
