SPRINT-Nav U brings the proven accuracy and intelligence of the SPRINT-Nav family to smaller AUVs, ROVs, and USVs in a lightweight, compact format. Measuring just 134 mm tall and 114 mm in diameter, this all-in-one navigation system fuses AHRS, DVL, INS, and depth data to deliver precise, reliable guidance in even the most confined underwater environments. Designed for fast deployment and ease of integration, SPRINT-Nav U arrives fully calibrated for immediate use, with no in-field alignment or complex setup required. Its hybrid acoustic–inertial algorithm maintains navigation accuracy even when operating near metallic structures where magnetic-based systems fail.
Powered by Sonardyne’s advanced FOG-based inertial technology, SPRINT-Nav U provides true-north-seeking navigation with typical survey accuracy of 0.1% of distance traveled and heading precision to 0.15°. The 500 kHz DVL maintains bottom lock up to 100 m altitude, while the system’s minimal size and low power draw make it ideal for compact platforms engaged in inspection, mapping, and scientific missions. Built in an acetal copolymer housing rated to 300 m, SPRINT-Nav U offers web-based configuration, water-blocked cabling, and simple integration for high-performance navigation wherever space and payload are limited.
