ParaZero Technologies and Axon Vision have introduced a new integrated Counter-UAS capability combining controlled, net-based physical interception with edge artificial intelligence threat analysis.
Designed specifically for sensitive environments such as airports, energy facilities, homeland security assets, and critical infrastructure, the system provides a non-explosive alternative where kinetic rounds or fragmentation downrange are operationally unwanted. While initial defense configurations focused on protecting maneuvering forces through kinetic responses, the new setup expands physical protection options to fixed sites requiring controlled aerial containment.
The platform is structured around an operational cycle focused on passive electro-optical detection, artificial intelligence analysis, engagement management, and non-explosive physical neutralization. Passive sensors detect potential targets, while AI algorithms process threat data under Man-on-the-Loop supervision. When an engagement is authorized, ParaZero’s autonomous DefendAir Net Pod deploys a physical net to safely capture intruding unmanned aerial vehicles.

The integrated system was recently evaluated during a trial campaign in Israel, where joint operations successfully validated technical interoperability under representative field conditions. Following the field trials, both companies executed a non-binding memorandum of understanding establishing a formal framework for continued software integration, system development, and potential commercial deployment.

By employing a modular architecture, the system demonstrates how specialized net-based effectors can serve as complementary interception components within broader counter-drone networks deployed by system integrators, autonomous platform developers, and defense manufacturers.
