ParaZero Technologies Ltd. has secured its first purchase order from a major Israeli defense entity for the company’s DefendAir Counter-UAS.
The contract marks the first direct agreement between ParaZero and this leading defense organization for the DefendAir anti-drone technology. The procurement follows the identification of heightened drone threats in recent conflicts, where unmanned systems have emerged as a primary risk to ground forces and critical operations.
DefendAir is designed as a multi-layered, soft-kill solution that utilizes patented net-launching technology. This approach allows for the safe, non-kinetic interception of hostile drones while ensuring minimal collateral damage. The system has achieved a 100% interception success rate across multiple field trials and is specifically engineered to protect troops, urban environments, and infrastructure from evolving aerial threats.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, commented, “We are honored to receive this first order from a leading Israeli defense entity, a testament to the reliability and effectiveness of our DefendAir systems in real-world defense scenarios. Following the lessons of recent conflicts, where drones have emerged as a significant battlefield challenge, this procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities. We are proud to contribute to enhancing the protection of Israeli forces and look forward to supporting broader deployment of our technology.“
As an aerospace defense company, ParaZero specializes in smart, autonomous solutions for both manned and unmanned aerial systems. The current order includes the delivery of DefendAir units alongside dedicated integration and training support to facilitate rapid operational readiness for the defense entity.
