uAvionix is partnering with OneSky to integrate its FlightLine™ ADS-B traffic data directly into OneSky’s enterprise Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) platform via an API, enabling safer and scalable Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations.
This integration will empower airspace operators, drone service providers, and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) stakeholders with aviation-grade, real-time situational awareness.
FlightLine, which is powered by uAvionix’s nationwide FlightStation™ ground network, delivers low-latency, high-availability surveillance data across both 978 MHz UAT and 1090 MHz ES ADS-B frequencies. The service provides validated tracks of cooperative crewed aircraft down to very low altitudes, enabling accuracy and reliability for UTM applications.
By integrating FlightLine as a Supplemental Data Service Provider (SDSP) into OneSky’s UTM platform, the combined systems offer several key benefits.
These include real-time 4D awareness, which fuses the precise ADS-B data with OneSky’s simulation and decision-support tools for complete airspace visibility and deconfliction. The integration also allows for the accelerated deployment of UTM through instant access to validated traffic feeds, enabling rapid scaling of BVLOS operations.
Enhanced safety is supported by the low-latency detection of low-altitude traffic, which aids in strategic planning and compliance with FAA and global UTM frameworks. Furthermore, the API-based delivery ensures seamless scalability and plug-and-play access for operators, ranging from single missions to nationwide fleets.
Thomas Jimenez, VP of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems at uAvionix, stated, “This partnership marks a major leap forward in enabling safe, scalable skies for all. FlightLine’s proven ADS-B infrastructure, built on our robust FlightStation network, supercharges OneSky’s UTM with the dependable traffic data needed to unlock BVLOS operations at scale.”
Bob Hammett, CEO of OneSky, added, “Integrating uAvionix FlightLine elevates OneSky’s platform to new heights of operational awareness and reliability. Our customers, from airspace authorities to UAM innovators, gain the real-time insight required for mission-critical decisions. This collaboration reinforces our shared vision for safe, efficient, and scalable uncrewed flight.”
The new integration is available immediately, allowing OneSky customers to activate FlightLine data feeds through a streamlined API configuration.
