uAvionix has collaborated with VOTIX, incorporating its FlightLine ADS-B data service into VOTIX’s drone operating system, to improve the safety, operational efficiency, and decision-making in low-altitude First Responder (DFR) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations.
The partnership enables real-time, aviation-grade Detect and Avoid (DAA) data to be delivered to VOTIX users. The FlightLine service provides validated ADS-B track data from a high-integrity network of dual-band receivers, detecting low-altitude traffic from crewed aircraft transmitting on 978 MHz or 1090 MHz.
The inclusion of the low-latency feed means VOTIX’s hardware-agnostic platform provides enhanced situational awareness, early conflict detection, and real-time alerts. This is crucial for rapid emergency response and deconfliction where every second counts.
uAvionix and VOTIXI’s collaboration strengthens the foundational software stack solution, vital to the newly published FAA’s BVLOS NPRM. This will enable operations to be conducted in the U.S. in the near future.
